A Community Interpreter is someone who can help people access services. They help people who have limited spoken English to connect with the community.

Anyone can become a Community Interpreter. You must have strong skills in the English Language and at least one other language.

Becoming a Community Interpreter is a good way to become more involved in the local community. You can help people access services that may not be possible without your help.

Community Interpreters can help people access services offered by the Red Cross, CAB, Age UK, Refugee Council, the NHS, Local Authority, DWP, and more local community organisations.
